Pa-Paw's BBQ in North Wilkesboro is a great place to get authentic BBQ and Country Cooking. I really enjoyed my visit here and being able to enjoy Western North Carolina BBQ and all of the sides that Pa-Paw's had available. Everything I tried was awesome and tasty as I could have stayed here all day and tried everything on the menu. This prices here are great for all of the food you get and you can order and do not have to worry about a big bill. The service here is great and friendly as they really know how to take care of their guests and will go out of their way to make sure you are having the best possible experience. Overall this is a great restaurant and I am glad I had a chance to come here and leave with a smile on my face and a full belly.

We were very pleased with our meal. The BBQ was very good, the slaw was very good, and the fries were hot and tasty. The only thing I had a concern with was the sauce was too vinegary for me and when I was leaving I noted that and was the told they have the sweeter kind available, but you have to ask for it. So, now I know and will be going back. We drove there from Johnson City.

Not so good this time baked potato undercooked flounder so thin you could read a newspaper. Really over done the French fries got so many it just coved the plate.
